The Basic Small Conductor Head

Also known as a leader head or collector box, the basic small conductor head has a simple design, a classic look at a value price.

Adding conductor heads to a gutter system will enhance the beauty and architectural style on a building. They are traditionally installed under the soffit to let air into the line which then prevents excess noise (gurgling) and helps stop vacuum lock. They are also used for through wall scuppers and roof drains.

Colors: kynar Aluminum and Galvalume vs. Stainless Steel

  • Although aluminum can be welded, and steel can be soldered, the material used for our conductor heads is a pre finished material, which already comes in colors. Because of this, the only way to assemble items with it is by using rivets.
    That is the standard, and the common practice in the industry.
    However, because we also have the capability of powder coating items in house, we also decided to offer such items in stainless steel. This means that for a premium, due to extra steps in manufacturing, this conductor head can be assembled without rivets, soldered together then powder coated in any of our standard colors.
