W Valley Flashing For Roofs - 10' Length
Flashing metal used on tile, slate and metal roofs. Available in 16 oz. and 20 oz. Lead Coated Copper.
A roof valley is a channel created where two different roof slopes meet / where a roof changes direction. A W valley is a type of roof flashing metal used to help prevent cross-wash, which can happen when water comes down the roof at a certain speed, enough to to flow from one side of the roof across the valley and up beneath the slate, shingles or tile on the adjacent roof slope.
The W valley profile we sell features 1/2" open hems for clip installation, while making edges not sharp which is always a plus when carrying the material.
W valleys are extremely common in slate roofing installations.
