Masonry Flashing Metal - Standard and Custom Profiles

K&M Sheet Metal and Roofing Supply offers a wide range of brake metal for the masonry industry.

We are equipped with machinery such as brakes, shears, CNC lasers and are able to brake / bend metal in 10′ and up to 20′ in lengths.

We offer all standard profiles needed for masonry job and can manufacture custom profiles and shapes as well, including certain curved/radius pieces.

The most typical material used on masonry flashing metal is 26 gauge 2B 304 stainless steel. Other alloys such as 316 as well as other thickness such as 24 gauge and 2D finishes are available as custom orders.

Miters are also avaulable as custom orders. These can be pre soldered depending on the material, of choice.

Masonry Custom Flashing Profiles Offered

Parapet Wall Cap

Caps a parapet wall. Commonly used with hook strip on one side, both, or with a one piece hook strip system.

Z Flashing

Custom stainless steel Z flashing.

Masonry Drip Edge

A profile used to direct water / moisture away from a building. Normally flat with a kick and sometimes hem.

End Dams

Pre made as separate items, or part of full length items, these are used to seal the end of a part. Normally fabricated in stainless steel then soldered.

Masonry Coping Caps

Normally flat pieces with kicks on both ends to act as drip edges. Kicks may also feature hems.

Masonry Flashing Miters

Commonly made as separate pieces for profiles such as drip edge or through wall flashing.

Reglet

Used to counter flash areas. Most commonly used on chimneys. Features a kick / hook area to stay in place.

Step Flashing

Used to counter flash areas. Most commonly used on chimneys. Commonly made out of copper and stainless steel.

Through Wall Flashing

Common profile used on brick building to expel any water that has made its way past the bricks.

90° Angle Flashing

L shaped flashing in 90 degrees, or custom angles.

Window and Door heads

Profiles used on divert any water form the top of a window or door away.

Window and Door Jambs

Profiles used on the installation of windows and doors to direct water away from a structure.

Window and Door Sills

Profiles used to direct any water that made its way behind doors or windows away.

Are any pre made / standard profiles available?

We offer some standard profiles, however, all manufacturing is made to order.

How are orders shipped?

Normally on a pallet / crate.

What lengths are available?

10' is the standard and easiest to get because of the 10' sheet availability in the market. 12' is also available as custom order. Longer lengths require coils, which are available only for much larger orders.

Do you offer custom profiles?

Yes. Please send us a sketch so we can let you know if we can manufacture the profile needed.

What are the typical metals used for masonry flashing?

Copper, Lead Coated Copper and Stainless Steel are the most commonly used materiuals.
